Shotyard is an AI creative production service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect information when you use the Shotyard website, its AI generation features, or the Shotyard plugin for ChatGPT (collectively, the “Service”).
We may process your name, email address, account identifier, authentication provider identifier, email-verification status, and account status. When you connect Shotyard to ChatGPT, the authorization flow may use Auth0 to confirm your identity and link the connection to your existing Shotyard account or create a new Shotyard account.
Shotyard receives only the authorization information required to operate the connected account. We do not receive your ChatGPT password or your complete ChatGPT conversation history.
When you ask Shotyard to create or manage media, we process information you intentionally submit to the Service, including:
The ChatGPT plugin receives the specific prompt and parameters sent to a Shotyard tool. It does not independently read unrelated messages from your ChatGPT conversations.
We may collect feature usage, timestamps, browser and device information, IP-derived security information, cookie data, and limited diagnostic records. We use this information to operate the Service, prevent abuse, investigate failures, and improve reliability.
Paid Shotyard services are purchased outside the ChatGPT plugin. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Shotyard does not store complete payment-card numbers. The ChatGPT plugin does not sell subscriptions or credits and does not collect payment details.
We use information to:
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the Service, including:
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
We retain account records while your account is active and as needed for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, and dispute-resolution purposes. Generation tasks and assets are retained so that you can access them through Shotyard, subject to the storage and inactive-account rules in our Terms of Service.
Operational and security logs are retained only for the period reasonably needed to diagnose incidents, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it in accordance with our operational and legal requirements.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
You can:
Disconnecting the plugin stops future access through that connection but does not by itself delete your Shotyard account or previously generated assets.
Shotyard and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers. An OpenAI project data-residency setting does not determine the storage location used by Shotyard or by Shotyard’s other service providers.
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted transport, access controls, scoped authorization, and restricted server-side credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not directed to children under the minimum age required to consent to online services in their jurisdiction. Do not use Shotyard to create sexualized or exploitative content involving minors.
We may update this Policy as the Service changes. We will publish the revised version on this page and update the effective date.
